Hola!

The Genomic Explorer y Survey of Immune Response (GEYSIR) is a web application designed to correlate case-control association data with genetic and physical maps of the human genome, including key human genes associated with host immune response.

Encouraged by user feedback, we are making GEYSIR publicly available for the visualization and analysis of human genomic neighborhoods and SNP variants.

Review the latest features of GEYSIR v1.7 alpha (April 2007) and the quick-start help guide (in pdf format). GEYSIR requires your browser to have the Flash plug-in, which is standard in most browsers. The GEYSIR launch panel on this page checks for the Flash plug-in and will advise if not found (rare-case).

Genome data release information describes GEYSIR's data sources and how featured immune response candidate genes were chosen. If you are interested in sharing or depositing association data, please contact popdev@ncgr.org .

GEYSIR was developed by the National Center for Genome Resources (NCGR) as part of a population genetics project funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). This project involves a team of researchers at deCODE Genetics, the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center (UNM-HSC), and NCGR.    Read news stories about these researchers.
